5. Choose the correct VG/PG ratio

E-liquids mainly consist of vegetable glycerin (VG) and propylene glycol (PG). VG is viscoser and makes fluid intake more difficult by fine wick openings, while PG is more thin and enables fast saturation.

For coils with small wick openings - such as the popular T18E 1,7 Ohm coils-we recommend liquids with a VG share of maximum 60 %. Hochviscose “Max VG”-Liquids (≥80% VG) are more suitable for more powerful sub-ohm coils with large wick openings.
